BLORPS is a to-do app that runs on your iPhone. It has no server of its own. This policy describes everything the app stores, everything that can leave your device, and how to remove it.
What BLORPS stores, and where
Your blorps, your completed history, your recurring returns, your themes and theme photos, your tag order, and your settings are stored on your device, in the app's own storage. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you turn on iCloud backup, share a blorp, or export your data.
Encryption
Those files are encrypted on your device with a key held in your keychain. The key is carried by iCloud Keychain so a restored or new device can read a device backup of the app's files.
iCloud backup (optional, off by default)
Settings > Backup has a switch called "Back up to iCloud". While it is off, nothing leaves your device for iCloud.
While it is on, your blorps, completed history, recurring returns, themes and theme photos, hidden themes, tag order, and settings are copied to a private database in your own iCloud account, using Apple's CloudKit. The data is encrypted before it leaves your device. VISEKAI STUDIOS LLC has no server involved in this and cannot read the contents.
With Advanced Data Protection turned on in your Apple Account, only your own devices can read that backup. Without it, Apple holds keys that can make the data readable in the circumstances Apple describes in its own iCloud documentation.
Turning the switch off stops further backups. "Delete iCloud backup" on the same page removes the copy from your iCloud account.
Dictation
Dictation uses Apple's speech recognition. Depending on your device and language, audio may be sent to Apple for processing. The system permission prompt describes Apple's handling. BLORPS keeps only the transcribed text, on your device.
Apple Intelligence
BLORPS uses the on-device Apple Intelligence model to divide and score tasks and to name new themes. It runs on your device.
Sharing
Sharing a blorp hands its text to the app you pick in the system share window. What that app does with it is governed by its own privacy policy.
Export
Settings > Backup has "Export data", which writes an unencrypted copy of your data as a zip file and hands it to the app you pick. Once it leaves BLORPS, that copy is yours to look after.
No analytics, no tracking, no advertising
BLORPS collects no analytics, contains no third party SDKs, tracks nothing across apps or websites, shows no advertising, and sells no data. There is no account on any server of ours, because there is no server of ours.
Deleting your data
- "Erase local data" (Settings > Backup) removes everything BLORPS stores on your device.
- "Delete iCloud backup" (Settings > Backup) removes the copy in your iCloud account.
- Deleting the app removes its storage with it. An iCloud backup you made survives until you delete it in the app or in your iCloud settings.
Retention
Data on your device stays until you delete it or delete the app. Data in your iCloud backup stays until you delete it. Nothing is retained by VISEKAI STUDIOS LLC, which holds none of it.
Children
BLORPS is not directed at children and collects nothing that identifies anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated text is published at this address with a new date above.
